India Waves Founder, President & CEO Lakshmi Baweja has been providing platform to South Asian Youth for fifteen years on India Waves TV & Radio. She realized the need to form a non political and non religious youth organization identifying our heritage and retain cultural values. Her mission aimed to develop youth role models in South Asian Community with roots to India.
India Waves Youth Wing provides platform for Cultural, Talent and Civic responsibilities. Lakshmi established India Waves Youth Wing on January 26, 2002. Today IWYW is a community pride & service enjoying increasing popularity. Over the years 24,000 plus youth talents have participated on India Waves TV & Radio with zest, zeal & enthusiasm.

In 2002 Founding President Dipika Parmar in her acceptance speech elaborated on India Waves Youth Wing goals.

India Waves Youth Wing is community service by youth volunteers.
Selection process includes educational, arts, cultural & family values. Recruiting opportunities for ages between 13 years - 17 years.
